In the hover dictionary, I see that 先生 has the pinyin xiānshēng. Wherever I look it up, the second syllable seems to be toneless. Is this a mistake or just a dialectal variation?
xiānshēng is its original sound, while xiānsheng presents the sound in spoken language. Both are right.
